Spaghetti Bolognese

Ingredients:

  • 500 Grams of ground turkey meat or turkey breast (Peacock)
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 2 peeled carrots
  • 2 Celery (stems)
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 cup of tomato puree
  • 1/4 cups of red wine
  • 5 Tomatoes, poached and chopped
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 2 Branches of oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Enough water
  • 2 packs of spaghetti 200 grams
  • To the taste of grated Parmesan, to accompany
  • To the taste of fresh oregano, to accompany

Preparation:

For the Bolognese sauce, finely chop the meat, as well as the onion, carrots and celery.

In a frying pan heat the oil with the butter, cook the minced meat until it is cooked and add the onion, the celery and the carrot. Cook for a few minutes.

Add the tomato puree and cook for a few minutes. Add the wine and let it reduce, then the tomato, the water and the spices. Reduce the heat and cook for about 20-30 minutes until most of the liquid is reduced, but not completely dry. Season.

Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until it is "al dente" or just right. Drain.

Serve:

Serve the pasta with the sauce on top and finish with parmesan cheese and oregano to your liking.
