Baked turkey leg

Rich and healthy turkey legs that will be the perfect lunch for your family.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Turkey Legs (King Turkey)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/2 Tbsp of salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp pepper
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon of dried parsley
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 liter of chicken broth
 

Preparation:

We start making the marinade by putting the olive oil in a bowl along with the balsamic vinegar, the aromatic herbs, a little salt and black pepper to taste and mix it well.

With a knife we make some cuts to the turkey leg so that the marinade penetrates well and we soak the leg making sure that the marinade covers all the parts. We cover it and we take it to the refrigerator so that it rests and absorbs the flavors of the marinade during a couple of hours.

When the turkey has rested, we turn on the oven at a temperature of 220º to preheat it.

We take the turkey out of the fridge and put it on a baking tray, add chicken broth, previously prepared, if we don't have it we can use the boxed one, and bake it for approximately 1 hour.

 

Serve:

Serve with a caesar salad and sauteed mushrooms with butter.
